Rishab Shetty undergoing rigorous training for Kantara 2 project

Rishab Shetty, the creator of the 2022 pan-Indian blockbuster 'Kantara', is gearing up to release a prequel on August 27. 'Kantara 2' will delve into the backstory of the deity and the significance of the village, serving as a prelude to the original film.
Rishab, who hails from the same town where the film is set, is passionately developing the story on a grand scale. He is undergoing intensive training, including horse riding and Kalari Payattu, to ensure an authentic portrayal. While the cast of the prequel is yet to be announced, Rishab is collaborating once again with composer Ajaneesh Loknath and cinematographer Arvind Kashyap. Filming for the prequel is scheduled to begin in September, with the exact dates still being discussed and finalized by Hombale Films, the production company behind the project.
