Reeshma, who plays Machhlakshmi, looks feisty in Prem's 'KD The Devil'

Reeshma Nanaiah is collaborating with the filmmaker Prem for 'KD The Devil', starring Dhruva Sarja. The pan-India film is a period action entertainer based on true events. Reeshma Nanaiah made her debut with the Prem directorial, Ek Love Ya.

V Ravichandran and Bollywood stars Sanjay Dutt and Shilpa Shetty are in pivotal roles. Prem is excited to work with Reeshma again. “Since there are Bollywood actors in the film, some people thought I would bring in someone from outside to play the leading lady. But I was very particular about casting someone from our own industry. Reeshma is very professional and I wanted to show her in a different light,” he says.

“We changed over 50 costumes and took four months to finalise her look. We also trained her for a couple of days as she had to embody the mannerisms of the 70’s heroines. You can see those legendary heroines through Machhlakshmi,” he added.

Prem also hinted that a Tamil actor would join the KD adda soon.
