Puneeth Rajkumar to collaborate with Jacob Verghese under his own banner of PRK Productions?

According to the most recent reports, Puneeth Rajkumar is all set to collaborate with the director of 'Prithvi', Jacob Verghese, for the second time and will also be backing the film under his own banner of PRK Productions. If everything goes alright, this would be Puneeth's first full-fledged film for his home banner in the capacity of a lead actor. It is said that both Jacob Verghese and Puneeth Rajkumar have been discussing the film in detail and even finalized a script. The project is likely to go on floors by February of 2022, once the Powerstar wraps up his current commitments.

Puneeth Rajkumar, who's currently shooting for Chethan Kumar's 'James', is set to join Pawan Kumar & Co. for 'Dvitva' in which he is cast opposite Trisha. He has also signed a film with director Dinakar Thoogudeepa which is to be produced by Jayanna Combines.

Filmmaker Jacob Verghese's most recent release is the critically acclaimed 'Chambal' which features Sathish Ninasam, Sonu Gowda, Kishore, and many others. 'Chambal' is loosely based on the life and times of the late IAS officer D.K. Ravi, who was found dead in 2015 under slightly suspicious circumstances.
