Prithviraj Sukumaran to star in Hombale films' ‘Salaar’?

After the huge success of the pan-Indian movie 'Baahubali’, many filmmakers in India have been coming up with themes for Pan Indian stars. Filmmakers are signing either a widely popular actor or a bonafide star from their respective language or region.

Though casting popular Bollywood actresses is not new in South Cinema, lately, many Bollywood actors have acted as villains in South movies.

As per the latest gossip that's making rounds in Tollywood, Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran will reportedly be playing a pivotal role in Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’. If the sources are to be believed fans will be super excited to see both Prabhas and Prithviraj sharing screen as both share massive fan following in their respective industries.

Prithviraj reportedly shares a good rapport with the KGF director Prashanth Neel, who also reportedly purchased the Malayalam theatrical rights of Prashanth Neel’s ‘KGF: Chapter 2’.

'Salaar', which is being shot in both Telugu and Kannada, is being funded by Hombale films with Shruti Haasan as the female lead. The film will have its theatrical release in 2022.
