Prime Minister All Praise For Kannada Pan-India Superstars Yash,Rishab Shetty

In the cinema industry, KGF fame Yash, 'Kantara' fame director-actor Rishab Shetty, producer Vijay Kirgandur, late Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar's wife Ashiwni Puneeth Rajkumar and Kannada standup comedian 'Aiyyo' Shraddha were invited. The news is, Modi has promised that his Government will be extending all its help for the development of Kannada cinema in all possible ways. In the past, in many interviews post 'Kantara' release, Rishab Shetty has expressed his admiration for PM Modi.

It was a dream-come-true moment for Kantara star Rishab Shetty, who was among the esteemed guests who got to share the dinner table with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday night at Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru.

Sporting his signature white shirt and panche look, Rishab smiled ear-to-ear as he shook hands with the Prime Minister.

Speaking about what went on during the interaction, Rishab said, “We spoke about what is happening in the Kannada film industry as well as the entertainment industry as a whole. He also took a note about the demands from the industry.“

Yash, who wore a simple white shirt and blue jeans to meet and greet the PM, was seen gleefully interacting with the Prime Minister. Speaking about the interaction, Yash said, “I felt very happy, especially the way he listened to us.”

“The Prime Minister expressed his views about our industry and shared his vision. He listened to us speak about expectations - what are we expecting from govt. He also told us about what we can do as an industry to the country. He assured us that his doors will be open for our grievances, as an industry,” Yash said.

“I was impressed with the kind of knowledge he has about minute details about the entertainment industry. We discussed the possibilities about what we, as an industry, can do for the country. He called the entertainment industry a soft power and he has a big vision for us,” Yash added.

“He appreciated our work. It was a wonderful experience and as as always, he was very inspiring,” Yash concluded.
