Powder promises to be a laughter-filled joyride, according to actor Diganth Manchale, who stars alongside Dhanya Ramkumar and Sharmiela Mandre in this comedic venture. The film also boasts a strong supporting cast of comedic talents, including Rangayana Raghu, Nagabhushana, Ravishankar Gowda, Gopalkrishna Deshapande, and Anirudh Acharya.
Diganth emphasizes that the true strength of Powder lies in its ensemble cast. He praises the collective effort of the actors, noting that everyone worked together to elevate each scene. He credits director Janardhan Chikkanna with skillfully managing the challenge of handling nine characters, each with their own storyline, which has contributed to the film's perfect comic timing.
Sharmiela Mandre takes on a bold new role in Powder, playing an aggressive assassin. She reveals that she had only 60 days to train for the four major action sequences in the film. Although she was nervous about doing action for the first time, the success of her first action block boosted her confidence, making the subsequent sequences feel effortless.
Dhanya Ramkumar, who portrays a small-town girl named Nithya, describes Powder as the perfect film to unwind with after a long day. She shares that she was initially apprehensive about her comic timing but received strong guidance and encouragement from the director, Janardhan. Dhanya believes that in a cinematic landscape dominated by dark and moody films, Powder stands out as a refreshing burst of color, full of humor and light-hearted fun.
