Post KGF success Srinidhi Shetty has become one of the most sought after actresses in South cinema

The movie is slated for release in August, and Srinidhi Shetty has roped in to play the leading lady in the film. But did you know that Srinidhi Shetty has charged more than double the remuneration of the ‘KGF’ franchise for ‘Cobra’. If reports are to be believed, Srinidhi Shetty received a whopping amount for her role in ‘Cobra’ which apparently equals double the amount of what she received for the Yash starrer. Srinidhi Shetty who had reportedly charged Rs 3 crore for ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, has apparently got around Rs 7 crore as as remuneration for her upcoming film ‘Cobra’.

Srinidhi Shetty shot to fame after appearing in the pan-Indian release the ‘KGF' franchise. She essayed the leading lady Reena Desai in the Yash starrer and has received worldwide attention for the same.

Meanwhile, ‘Cobra’ also marks her debut in Tamil cinema. Directed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu, ‘Cobra’ is touted to be an action thriller. The film has an ensemble cast of Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan, Miya George, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, Padmapriya, Mohammad Ali Baig, Kaniha, Mirnalini Ravi, Meenakshi and KS Ravikumar. The film is slated for release on August 11.
