MD Sridhar Returns with Jumbo Circus

At the teaser launch, MD Sridhar reminisced about his extensive and successful journey in Kannada cinema. He attributed the genesis of Jumbo Circus to producer Suresh's unwavering faith, symbolized by a humble Rs. 10,000 advance during the 100-day celebrations of Krishna. Despite facing numerous challenges, their determination brought the project to fruition. Sridhar expressed his concerns about the current decline in Kannada film releases and hoped for a resurgence that would draw audiences back to theaters.

Sridhar revealed that Jumbo Circus centers on a love story between two youngsters from divergent family backgrounds. Despite familial discord, their childhood bond evolves into a romance, beautifully captured by cinematographer Krishna Kumar.

Praveen Tej, who previously worked with Sridhar in Jolly Days, is thrilled to collaborate again, recalling his experience of attending Krishna's screening at Sagar Theatre. Anjali Aneesh, a lawyer turned actor who debuted with Padavi Poorva, is equally excited about Jumbo Circus.

The film features music composed by Vasuki Vaibhav, stunts by Ravi Varma, and dialogues penned by Raghu Niduvalli. Produced by HC Suresh under the Sri Mahathi Combines banner with Suprith Shetty as co-producer, Jumbo Circus boasts a seasoned cast, including Avinash, Achyuth Kumar, Ravishanker Gowda, Swathi, Ashalatha, Lakshmi Siddaiah, Nayana Sharath, Jaggappa, and the late Mohan Juneja. The film is currently in post-production and is expected to hit theaters in September.

In addition to Jumbo Circus, MD Sridhar revealed plans to team up with star Darshan. He mentioned having a producer from Mangaluru who will bankroll the project. Sridhar is currently developing one or two storylines and plans to share them with Darshan at the appropriate time. Once the storyline is finalized, the project will proceed.
