Mansore's next movie '19.20.21' is based on a real-life incident
Filmmaker Mansore has been known to make cinema that excites the viewers.
After his National Award-winning films Harivu and Nathicharami, he made ACT-1978 that once again wowed critics and fans. He had then announced a multilingual biopic of Rani Abbakka. But the pandemic has caused a delay in those plans and he has, instead, announced a new film - 19.20.21.
Now Mansore says that this film will not only be made this year, it will also be released in 2022 as well. "The pandemic has disrupted our plans and we all got a lot of time to spend at homes. As someone who can only do films, it was frustrating to sit at home idle. This was when I got time to work on a lot of groundwork for other films. One such was a story based on a real-life incident that I had on my mind. This is 19.20.21," he shares.
Mansore adds, "The significance of the title will be revealed only once the film releases. Of course, people can try and guess, but the numbers 19, 20 and 21 are relevant to the script in a big way. The details with regards to the cast and crew will be revealed shortly. We plan on going on floors soon and are looking at releasing the film as quickly as possible.”
