'Mafia' is the 35th film of Prajwal Devaraj

Lohith had earlier directed thriller movies like Mummy and Devaki. The muhurtha of the movie will be held at a temple tomarrow(2nd December). The film being backed by Bangalore Kumar.

The team has said that Prajwal has chopped off his hairs for the film after two years which is donated for the benefit of cancer patients. Mafia, which has a mass subject, was supposed to be directed by Gurudatha Ganiga, but he opted out of the project. The shoot of the movie will begin from December 6 in Bengaluru, Mysuru and Ramoji film city. The movie sees Prajwal Devaraj sharing screen space with Aditi Prabhudeva who is one of the busiest actresses in Sandalwood. Anoop Seelin has composed the music. While Maasthi is the dialogue writer and Tharun is the cinematographer.
