'K.G.F: Chapter 2' and Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chadha'set for a box-office clash

The two films will lock horns on the 14th of April, 2022, and potentially create a highly eventful season for all the cinema patrons across the globe.

Aamir Khan Productions took to social media a short while ago to gladly announce that its labor of love will come out on the special occasion of Baisakhi. "We are happy to share our new poster and our new release date :)" read their post on Instagram.

An official remake of the very popular Robert Zemeckis picture 'Forrest Gump' (original screenplay credited to Eric Roth, based on Winston Groom's novel of the same name), Laal Singh Chadha' also stars Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, Mona Singh, and others. Advait Chandan directs the film who had previously directed 'Secret Superstar' in 2017 for Aamir Khan's home production.

'K.G.F: Chapter 2' has easily been one of the most anticipated films of recent times as many await the conclusion to the prelude that was 'Chapter 1'. Directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash in the lead role, the second installment will have Sanjay Dutt play the antagonist Adheera while Raveena Tandon essays the role of Ramika Sen. Srinidhi Shetty, Anant Nag, Achyuth Kumar, and others will return to their previous avatars while Prakash Raj becomes another new entrant to the cast with his role as Vijayendra Ingalgi. The release date of 'K.G.F: Chapter 2' was announced not very long ago.
