Kartik Subbaraj to distribute Rakshit Shetty's 777 Charlie'

777 Charlie getting a good response from other language fraternity, With names like Prithviraj Sukumaran already associated with the project, the makers have now got ace Tamil filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj on board who will be presenting the film in Tamil. Karthik Subbaraj's home production and distribution house, Stonebench Films, recently signed up to distribute the Tamil version of the film in a full-fledged manner.

Speaking about the Pizza director's involvement, director Kiranraj K says: "Rakshith and Karthik Subbaraj has been friends for quite some time and with Stonebench films being in the picture the whole time, Rakshith happened to send across a show-reel of the film. The show-reel impressed Karthik Subbaraj and his whole team who then decided on coming on board to present the Tamil version of the film but with one condition alone - they wanted the complete involvement so as to promote and distribute the film as a genuine Tamil release and not as any normal dubbed version".

Although the show-reel was more than enough to charm the team at Stonebench Films, Karthik Subbaraj and Co. decided on watching the entire film before making the decision. "For them to whole-heartedly accept the film and present it to a Tamil audience, they wanted to watch the entire film first. Gladly, the film too managed to impress them a lot and Karthik Subbaraj sir has even tweeted about it later," adds a very jubilant Kiranraj K.

With the teaser of 777 Charlie releasing on June 6th, the pre-release talk regarding the film has been quite positive and the makers too have been keen on getting the first taste of the public opinion. A bonafide pan-Indian release, 777 Charlie will be coming out in five different languages that include Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi. Prithvi Sukumaran, the popular Malayalam actor and director, recently joined the team to distribute and present the Malayalam version of the film.
