Rishab Shetty likes to remain busy always and churn out interesting content round the year. He has a number of interesting projects under the belt and that too in various capacities.
The penchant to tell stories about his home and the people he has seen growing up has been a striking factor about him, and with the likes of Rakshit Shetty and Raj B. Shetty accompanying him in the cause, there's a lot to look forward to with respect to Kannada cinema.
And this particular fondness, for stories about his hometown and people, will appear prominently in his upcoming venture 'Kantara' which he directs and also stars in as the lead. He goes to back his hometown of Keradi to shoot the film about a mysterious forest. "While I like a lot of realism in my films, 'Kantara' for a change has an element of fantasy in it. It deals with the human vs nature conflict but with a twist of fantasy, or a "legend", if you will, about a mysterious forest called Kantara," Rishab shares about the film. 'Kantara will be produced by the makers of 'K.G.F' and also stars Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, and Achyuth Kumar.
