Century star Shivarajkumar and director Hemanth M Rao are collaborating for the first time on an epic project titled Bhairavana Kone Paata. The film's first look poster has already captivated cinephiles, showcasing Shivarajkumar, affectionately known as Shivanna, in an armor-clad look with long grey hair.
Speaking about the film, Shivarajkumar expressed his excitement: “This is a film that will be spoken about for a long time. Appaji was known to play characters like this in the yesteryears and gained a lot of love for the same. I am incredibly happy to be playing Bhairava. I loved every bit of the narration and look forward to working with Hemanth M Rao and team."
Hemanth M Rao shared his enthusiasm and the challenges of the project: “Bhairavana Kone Paata is my most ambitious project. The responsibility of mounting a film at this scale and also directing a superstar that I’ve grown up admiring makes it ten times more challenging. Working with Shivanna is something that every director wishes for. His zeal towards work is infectious.”
He added, “The photoshoot happened on top of a hill for an entire day. The entire team was in awe of the way Shivarajkumar pulled off the shoot despite the weather not being in our favor. The film is set a few centuries ago but will be treated like a modern war film. It’s a new experience that I am looking to create with Bhairavana Kone Paata."
The Bhairavana Kone Paata team will announce its technical crew soon, and the shoot is expected to begin in September.
