'Ek Love Ya' release date pushed due to New COVID-19 restrictions

Star director Prem's latest offering 'Ek Love Ya' is one of the most anticipated films of January 2022. This film launches his brother-in-law Raanna as a leading man, with Rachita Ram and Reeshma Nanaiah as the heroines. The film's release has now been pushed from January 21.

“There is no other option. This is not one of those mass films that will garner a big opening, it is instead a love story with a good message for the youth and it needs time for it to grow on people. The film is meant for mainly college students and families and with so many restrictions, we cannot have a smooth release. We plan to wait it out till the government says it is fine for us to release films normally, with 100% occupancy and no curfews. It will also mean that it would be comfortable for families and youngsters to step out then," says Prem.

The trailer of the film, which was originally scheduled to launch this Tuesday, hence has also been held back and the team plans on releasing the trailer and the other song left from the film only when they are confident of a release date.
