The Duniya Vijay's 'Salaga' is all set to release on the 14th of October. The film has already endured a massive delay in its theatrical release due to the pandemic and the audiences will finally get to watch Vijay & Co's labor of love on the big screen, as originally intended.

Now it is said that the makers are already in the process of starting another project.

Indeed, when producer Sreekanth K.P. shared a picture of himself along with Duniya Vijay, Dhananjaya, and Punith Kumar (of Venus Entertainments) via social media, he would also reveal that there's an "exciting news" around the corner, and fans couldn't help but wonder if he was referring to a new film in the making. But Sreekanth K.P. divulged no further details and it would be a matter of time before one finds out what's in store and whether or not the teams reunites to enthrall us all once again.

'Salaga' marks Duniya Vijay's directorial debut in which he also stars as the lead. Dhananjaya essays the role of a cop for the very time in his career and fans have been particularly curious to know how the dynamics between the two actors play out on screen. Prior to its release, 'Salaga' has been in the news mainly because of the success of its songs which have only risen in popularity during the course. The title song, sung by Yogi B and Sanjith Hegde, and the most recent promotional song Tininga Miniga Tishaaa..., featuring Duniya Vijaya and the Siddhi community, have gained a special status in the recent past and Charan Raj's impressive soundtrack is sure to be a major contributor the film's eventual success. Sanjana Anand plays the female lead.
