'Drishya 2' now all set for its theatrical release on 10th December 2021
'Drishya 2' is an upcoming Kannada action thriller sequel of the original movie Drishya and is the remake of the Malayalam hit Drishyam 2.
The film is directed by P. Vasu and produced by Mukesh R Mehta, Seetharam GVS, and CV Sarathi, the cinematography of the film has been rendered by Seetharam GSV, and the film’s music is given by Ajaneesh Loknath.
The movie was to be released earlier this year on November 19, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the release got delayed and Drishya 2 is now all set for its theatrical release in December this year (2021).
The film brings about almost all the characters reprising their roles of the previous part, with V. Ravichandran playing the role of Mohanlal of the original Malayalam version. The movie also features its previous cast of Navya Nair, Aarohi Narayan, Unnati, Asha Sharath, and Prabhu playing their previous roles.
The story begins six years after the heinous events that took place with his family, where his elder daughter is dealing with epilepsy, still haunted by the day when she accidentally killed a boy of her class while he was trying to take advantage of her. His younger daughter comes out to be a rebellious teen who has her own ways of dealing with life and slips out of her parents’ sight. Though the protagonist is now a successful owner of a cinema hall and wishes to release a movie of the story that he has written, he constantly fears of police unraveling his darkest secrets. The mystery of him being caught or spared by the police is the climax of the story!
