'Badava Rascal' has friendship written all over it, everyone will relate to it: Director Shankar Guru

Director Shankar Guru and actor Dhananjaya, had met on the sets of Guruprasad's 'Director's Special' almost a decade ago and it was one of those effortless bonds that got forged between them that Shankar Guru, an assistant director at the time, decided that he was to make his debut with Dhananjaya and no one else

The two got busy with their respective projects in the coming years but the dream was kept alive and it was only a matter of time before it saw the light of day.

As the D-Day approaches and the team of 'Badava Rascal' braces itself for a release, expressing his feeling director Shankar Guru said

"I am incredibly glad, obviously, that the film is finally coming out and we are able to realize a dream that is at least a few years old. The reception for the trailer or the songs has been very positive so that's another plus. But, of course, I am also quite nervous because it's a debut not just for me but also for Dhananjaya (as a producer) so we are keen on finding out what happens on the 24th of December".
