Baanadaariyalli Movie Review Review: "Baanadaariyalli" revolves around the lives of two sports personalities, Sid (played by Ganesh) and Leela (played by Rukmini Vasanth), who excel in cricket and swimming/surfing, respectively. Their shared love for nature and the environment brings them together, and they fall in love.
With the blessings of their parents, they decide to take their relationship to the next level. However, a chance of fate brings a twist to their tale.
The second half of the movie introduces another character, Kadambari (played by Reeshma Nanaiah), who adds a bubbly element to the story. This part of the film appears to shift the focus towards wildlife and adventure.
Baanadaariyalli offers a unique and visually captivating experience by showcasing the wildlife of Africa's Maasai Mara. The connection between the title and the story adds depth to the narrative, and it's commendable that the cinematographer, Preetha Jayaram, played a role in shaping the film's direction.
Director Preetam Gubbi's impressive comeback, along with the emotional love story, seems to have resonated well with the audience. The cast, including lead actor Ganesh, Rukmini Vasanth, and Reeshma Nanaiah are praised for their performances, and Rangayana Raghu's portrayal of Leela's father is noteworthy.
However, the screenplay could have been tighter. The emotional aspect of the story is a strong point, evoking a sentimental response from the audience. Overall, "Baanadariyalli" offers a combination of romance, emotion, and captivating visuals, making it a film worth watching in theaters.
