The actress on her twitter page posted, “Extremely happy and honored to have received the award for best actress at the “Indian world film festival” for the revolutionary role I played in my movie “Amruthamathi” Feels great to be a contender among world movies and win! The event being on women's day makes it even more special Thanks to Baraguru Ramachandrappa sir for believing in me and guiding me throughout. I would like to dedicate this award to my mom and all the beautiful, talented & hard working women out there. Happy Women's Day!.”
