The upcoming action thriller Rudra Garuda Purana, featuring Kavaludaari actor Rishi, is set for release on December 27.
At a recent promotional event, the song "Kann Munde Bandu" was launched with actors KS Sridhar and Avinash, lead actress Priyanka Kumar, director Nandish, and other cast members in attendance. The event also paid tribute to the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar, whose influence and legacy continue to inspire the Kannada film industry.
Rishi highlighted the crucial roles of director Nandish and producer Lohith, praising their dedication to creating a smooth transition from script to screen. He shared his excitement about the film's story and expressed confidence that the song "Kann Munde Bandu" would resonate with audiences.
The film incorporates a mysterious element inspired by the real-life enigma of Pan Am Flight 914, which reportedly vanished in 1955, only to reappear decades later. This adds a thrilling backdrop to the story, centering on a fictional 17A Kaveri Express bus. The film was initially conceptualized by Jacob Varghese and had piqued Puneeth Rajkumar's interest.
Notable for its suspenseful storyline, Rudra Garuda Purana also features a soundtrack by Devi Sri Prasad, with KP (Krishna Prasad) joining as a collaborator. Cinematographer Sandeep Kumar and comedy actors Jagappa and Prasanna Handrang round out the team, with the project marking Ashwini Lohith's production debut under the Ashwini Arts banner.
