1980 Teaser: Priyanka Upendra in a new avatar in a psychological thriller

Priyanka Upendra’s upcoming flick 1980 has generated a lot of curiosity ever since the film was announced. Now with the teaser release, the curiosity has gone up by several notches. The film is a suspense thriller and the tone is rather dark and eerie. 

As suggested by the title, the film is set in the 80s and Priyanka has undergone a major makeover for her role. 1980 has been directed by Raj Kiran who has previously worked as Assistant Director on films like Savaari 2 and Missed Call. Most portions of the film have been shot in Chikmagalur and Madikeri.

The movie also stars Arvind Rao, Sridhar and Murali Sharma in important roles. The music is has composed by Chintan Vikas and camera work has been handled by Jeeva. Backed by RK Productions, the film has been edited by Lokesh Puttegowda. Meanwhile, Priyanka has movies like ‘Ugravatara’, ‘Life is Beautiful’, ‘St. Marks Road’ and the Bengali film Mr. Anshuman in her kitty.
