Why am I feeling Quantico's controversial episode is similar to Aamir's Sarfarosh?

The recent episode of Quantico has got a lot of negative reactions from the Indians who were stating about the plot of a bunch of Indian Nationalists planning to detonate a nuclear device in New York City and put the blame on the Pakistan for the carnage.

The plot has earned a lot of criticism for our Desi Girl and every one is calling her a hypocrite. But what just struck me was there was a Hindi movie way back in the 90s called Sarfarosh starring Aamir Khan which was dealing about cross border terrorism had some of the Indians being allied with the Pakistanis for destroying India.

When nobody created a ruckus when the movie released during a tension between two countries then why is everyone attacking Priyanka Chopra for just portraying Indians as terrorists?
