The trailer for "The Great Indian Family" was released on Tuesday afternoon. It opens with a narration by Bhajan Kumar, also known as Ved Vyas Tripathi (portrayed by Vicky Kaushal), who is a devotional singer and proudly claims the title of the "unquestionable bhajan king" in Balrampur. Bhajan Kumar introduces his deeply traditional family to the audience, with Manushi Chhillar portraying his love interest. Following a dance montage, Vicky's character reads a life-changing letter that reveals Bhajan Kumar's birth into a family of a different faith. As a result, his family disowns him, prompting Bhajan Kumar to embark on a journey to discover his true identity while seeking the love and acceptance of his estranged family. The film's release date is set for September 22, leaving us in suspense about whether Bhajan Kumar will ultimately reconcile with his family.
