Vikas Bahl, producer and director had been in the news lately for harassing Kangana Ranaut and this has officially got Anurag Kashyap to speak about this dastardly incident.
The MeToo movement started way back in 2017 when the famous producer of Hollywood Harvey Weinstein was charged by the NYPD for sexual misconduct, rape, blackmailing and criminal intimidation. That one incident sparked a movement in social media called the #MeToo which was used almost in every part of the world.
This was seen recently in Bollywood when actress Tanushree Dutta accused a famous veteran actor Nana Patekar for harassing her sexually and this went far when she accused the director of the film Vivek Agnihotri who forced her to do an item song which made her uncomfortable while shooting for the film Horn Ok Pleasssss. This garnered a lot of support from various actors who decided to take a stand for her.

Now, Vikas Bahl, the director who was famous for his films like Queen which had won the national award for best direction and best actress has been accused of sexual harassment by none other than Kangana Ranaut who was playing the lead in the film. Apart from Kangana, Vikramaditya Motwane, Anurag Kashyap and Madhu Matena who were the allies of Vikas Bahl when they formed Phantom Films had announced just now that they will be shutting down the production house which gave noteworthy films like Lootera, Queen, NH10 and much recently Manmarziyan. This decision was taken due to the harassment complaint by one of his victims.
Here are some tweets from Anurag Kashyap:
Phantom was a dream, a glorious one and all dreams come to an end . We did our best and we succeeded and we failed. But i know for sure we will come out of this stronger, wiser and will continue to pursue our dreams our own individual ways. We wish each other the best.

Vikramaditya Motwane, who had made films like Udaan and Lootera had just stated that Vikas Bahl had a long-standing history of doing such shenanigans and that also resulted in the brutal split of his wife which was caused because of his indecent and obscene behaviour where he was seen getting involved with many women. He even stated that three years back, during the premiere of Bombay Velvet and a party conducted in Goa, Vikas pretended to be drunk in front of a young woman in a hotel and he pulled her inside his room. The woman stated that he did many obscene gestures in front of her and that lasted for the whole night. Because of his sleazy taste and the obscene behaviour he had been fired repeatedly from various firms and even resulted in the divorce of his wife.
He released a tweet based on it.
