Vidya Balan starrer Sherni's shoot resumes in Madhya Pradesh

Vidya Balan resumed shooting of her next film, Sherni, in Madhya Pradesh today. The crew was seen performing puja in PPE kits before starting the shoot.
Vidya Balan resumed shoot for her upcoming film, Sherni, in Madhya Pradesh, today, October 21. The shooting for Sherni had to be stopped in mid-March due to the nationwide lockdown owing to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Now, after several months, Vidya Balan and the crew of Sherni resumed work, but with a puja on sets, and guess what - dressed in PPE suits.

Pictures show Vidya, seated on the floor in a t-shirt and a pair of jeans, with a mask on. Seated next to her is a priest who is conducting the puja. Also seated at some distance are two crew members, dressed in blue PPE kits.
Sherni’s shoot came to a grinding halt in mid-March as the country went into a lockdown owing to the coronavirus pandemic. The Amit Masurkar-directed film explores the man-animal conflict and features Vidya as a forest officer. Amit had previously directed the critically acclaimed Newton.
Vidya Balan shared an Insta story announcing that she has resumed Sherni shoot In the story, Vidya is seen with an animated tiger cub on her shoulders, with the caption. "Chalo meri #Sherni shooting shooting khelein."
Sherni is directed by Amit Masurkar and it explores the man-animal conflict featuring Vidya Balan in the lead as a forest officer. Sherni is being shot in the jungles of Madhya Pradesh.
Vidya Balan was last seen in Shakuntala Devi, which released on Amazon Prime Video since movie theatres were ordered shut amid the nationwide coronavirus lockdown.
