The much-anticipated film "Bhediya" starring Varun Dhawan has confirmed its release date on an Over-The-Top (OTT) platform. The movie will be available for streaming in multiple languages, catering to a wider audience base. The makers have sealed the deal for its OTT release, ensuring that fans can enjoy the film from the comfort of their homes.
After nearly six months since its theatrical release, Varun Dhawan's Bhediya has remained unavailable for streaming, leaving many eagerly anticipating its digital debut. However, there is now exciting news for all the fans out there. Bhediya is set to premiere on Jio Cinema on May 26, marking its much-awaited arrival on the OTT platform.
What's even more thrilling is that the film will be accessible in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Marathi, in addition to its original Hindi version. Jio Cinema, the film's OTT partner, deliberately chose to delay its digital release in order to coincide with the ongoing IPL season, aiming to capitalize on the heightened viewership during this time. Bhediya stands as India's first-ever creature comedy thriller, adding a unique flavor to its genre.
The talented Kriti Sanon took on the role of the leading lady in the film, which was skillfully directed by Amar Kaushik. Produced by Dinesh Vijayan under Maddock Films, the movie also features Abhishek Banerjee, Deepak Dobriyal, and Paalin Kabak in significant roles. As a testament to its success, a sequel titled Bhediya 2 has recently been announced, set to grace the screens in 2025.
