The release date for Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor's 'Bawaal', which is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari (Dangal and Chhichhore), has been pushed to a later date now.
The makers Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment have taken this call due to reasons surrounding the film's VFX and technical requirements. Sources have revealed that 'Bawaal' has been shot using a special technology in Poland and is ambitious in its onscreen presentation.
The film's director Nitesh Tiwari has revealed, “The visual finesse we want to achieve on these sequences will need more time than we expected. We don’t want to cut short at anything because our purpose is to bring nothing but the best version of our vision to our viewers.”
Bawaal was slated to release on April 7 this year, but now with the revised schedule, the film is expected to release later on in the year. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is expected to make an official announcement later on.
Apart from having been shot in India, the film was also shot at international locations like Paris, Berlin, Poland, Amsterdam and Krakow. According to reports, the elaborate action sequences had also employed more than 700 German stuntmen and technicians.
