Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan’s Coolie No.1 to release on 1st May 2020.

On the occasion of Labour day, Varun Dhawan posted a picture of his porter badge written No.1 on it and announced the release date of his upcoming film Coolie No.1 co-starring Sara Ali Khan.

The film is the remake of 1995 blockbuster of the same name starring Govinda, Karishma Kapoor, and Kader Khan. The film was directed by Varun Dhawan’s father David Dhawan who is also going to direct the remake version.

This is the first time Varun is sharing screen space with Sara Ali Khan. David will direct the upcoming film and it will be produced by Vashu Bhagnani, who also bankrolled the 1995 classic comedy. This will be the second collaboration between David and Varun after the 2017 hit film Judwaa 2.

Varun was last seen in the recently released Kalank, while Sara last starred in Simmba.
