Thugs Of Hindostan happens to be one of the highest budget films in the Indian Cinema after Tiger Zinda Hai and Dhoom 3. The film features the two icons of Bollywood namely Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.
Wow, are you serious? Like Aamir Khan in a period film? This is the reaction which most of us will see when we watch the logo of the much-awaited film Thugs of Hindostan, which is all set to hit the theatres on 8th November 2018 during Diwali.
The film boasts of a stellar star cast namely Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh. Katrina had shared screen space with Aamir Khan in his 2013 blockbuster Dhoom 3, Fatima Sana Sheikh was last seen with Aamir in Dangal playing the role of Geeta Phogat. The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who had previously directed Dhoom 3. The film has some intense fight scenes and the action is quite similar to Johnny Depp's Pirates Of The Carribean series as there are ship battles in this film.
Check out the teaser right below:
What is actually making me curious is that Katrina Kaif is in the period film and most of us have seen her mainly in films where she is portrayed as a westerner and her accent seems to be an obstacle when it comes to acting. Will she be able to create something cool in this film worth remembering? We are just curious to know.
The curiosity is quite equivalent to the previous period films like Jodhaa Akbar, Lagaan, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. We will have to wait and watch when the film releases the theatres.
