Taapsee Pannu starrer Rashmi Rocket goes on floors

The shooting of Taapsee Pannu-starrer Rashmi Rocket has begun. The film, which is a sports-drama, is being directed by Akarsh Khurana and also stars Priyanshu Painyuli. Taapsee will be seen playing the role of an athlete in the film while Priyanshu will play the role of her husband. Rashmi Rocket is written by Nanda Periyasamy, Aniruddha Guha and Kanika Dhillon. The film is slated to release next year.

Taapsee Pannu plays the role of a Gujarati girl named Rashmi in the film, who is a fast runner because of which her fellow villagers have nicknamed her ‘Rocket’. Taapsee had shared her look from the film in August and had revealed that she will start shooting for the same in November.

Taapsee Pannu had recently wrapped up shooting for Haseen Dilruba. The film also stars Vikrant Massey.
