Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborthy to record statement about the actor's demise.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s rumored girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty reached the Bandra Police Station on Thursday morning to record her statement in the case. On Tuesday, the police recorded the statements of Sushant’s father KK Singh, and his two daughters on Wednesday before they flew to Delhi, according to a PTI report.

Sushant was found dead at his Mumbai home on Sunday. The police said in a statement that it was a case of death by suicide and no note was found. The investigation is underway and the police will also probe the professional rivalry angle, Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh said in a tweet. He cited reports that the actor allegedly suffered from clinical depression because of professional rivalry.

After the actor's tragic demise several people from the industry have come out and criticized the Bollywood biggies. Kangana Ranaut and Abhinav Kashyap has accused biggies like Salman Khan and Karan Johar of promoting nepotism and suppressing outsiders from receiving opportunities in the film industry.

Meanwhile, Advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojhahas filed a criminal complaintagainst eight members of the film industry, including Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Khan, and Ekta Kapoor, in a court in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur.
