Stree 2 Trailer: Rajkummar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi Are Back with Thrills and Laughs

The trailer for Stree 2 has just been unveiled, continuing the story from the 2018 horror-comedy hit. This new chapter reintroduces Chanderi, which is once again under threat, but this time from a new monster rather than the original 'Stree' spirit. 

In the trailer, Pankaj Tripathi’s Rudra Bhaiya reveals the new danger: 'Sarkata', a headless monster. The residents of Chanderi, including the returning Shraddha Kapoor, who was the antagonist in the previous film, are now seeking protection from 'Stree'. This time, instead of asking 'Stree' to visit, they pray for her protection with the plea: "O stree raksha karna."

The trailer blends suspense with humor, showcasing the terrifying 'Sarkata' alongside amusing dialogue, such as Tripathi’s quip about the monster being an influencer looking to boost his follower count.

Abhishek Banerjee, reprising his role as Jana, expressed enthusiasm for returning to the character, noting the special connection with audiences, particularly kids. Stree 2, produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, will release on Independence Day, August 15
