#StandTogether: Team RRR in a special video asks India to get vaccinated

SS Rajamouli’s RRR team came together for a video on Thursday urging everyone to get vaccinations and wear a mask during the second wave of the novel coronavirus. 

The video features the entire cast of RRR including Alia Bhatt, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, and director SS Rajamouli. Earlier, the RRR team also started an initiative on Twitter where authentic information about coronavirus, hospital beds, oxygen cylinders, plasma donors etc., for Covid patients is posted.

In the video going viral online, the cast members of RRR are emphasising the importance of masks, sanitisers and the need to get vaccinated to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus. Featuring Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, each of the actors speak in different languages like Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. 

The actors are asking India to stand together once again to fight the second wave of the novel coronavirus. Sharing the video on social media, Jr NTR captioned it, “Wear a mask and get yourself vaccinated, when available! Let’s #StandTogether to stop the spread and save the country from #COVID19 (sic).”

Set against the backdrop of the pre-independence era in the 1920s, RRR is a fictional tale that narrates the journeys of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seethrama Raju, played by Jr NTR and Ram Charan, respectively. Alia Bhatt, who is set to make her Tollywood debut with the film, plays Sita opposite Ram Charan. The film also sees Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran in an extended cameo.
