SRK Appeals to Mani Ratnam for a Film, Director's Condition: 'I'll Agree When He Buys a Plane

Shah Rukh Khan garnered attention recently for declaring himself 'Indian for all ages' at a recent Delhi event. During the same occasion, he made a 'pleading request' to Mani Ratnam for a film. The duo, who previously collaborated on the 1998 hit 'Dil Se,' engaged in a humorous exchange at the CNN-News18 event in Delhi. In response to SRK's request, Ratnam humorously stated he would consider casting him in a film "when he buys a plane." The banter continued, with SRK expressing confidence in acquiring a plane soon and jokingly thanking Mani Ratnam for the upcoming film in March. 

On the professional front, SRK had a successful 2023 with hits like Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. Reports suggest he is set to collaborate with director Sujoy Ghosh in an upcoming film featuring his daughter, Suhana Khan. However, official announcements regarding his future projects are still pending.
