Soorma Trailer Decode: A Mixture Of Sultan, Chak De! India and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

Soorma, the most awaited movie starring Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi in lead roles. The movie is slated to release on 13th July 2018.
After watching the trailer of Soorma, I felt like watching three iconic sports movies back to back. The movie has a very good star cast and a good storyline of courage, redemption and honour.
Here is my take on the trailer:
1. The starting of the trailer is somewhat similar to what I have seen in Sultan which shows the budding romance between Diljit and Taapsee quite similar to Salman and Anushka in Sultan. The romance turns into passion when he gets motivated to train for hockey.
2. There are some portions which give a Chak De India like feeling when he plays like a warrior at the hockey tournament reminds me of Shah Rukh Khan playing hockey in Chak De India and the expertise opinion to the girls before the matches.
3. The last bit gave me a feeling of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, especially during the part when he gets shot in his spine and the doctors declare him unfit for playing. This reminds me when Farhan Akhtar refuses to go to Pakistan because of his childhood torture and the shock he felt after losing a race in Rome. Diljit's look gets me nostalgic and reminds me of Farhan Akhtar in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
