Sonam Kapoor's much-awaited comeback film, "Blind," is scheduled to release on July 7th on the JioCinema platform. The teaser for the film was released on June 28th, giving viewers a glimpse into the intriguing storyline.
Sonam Kapoor plays the role of Gia, a visually impaired woman who encounters a shocking situation while taking a cab driven by Purab Kohli's character.
In the teaser, Gia boards the taxi at night, and the cab driver offers her a bottle of water, which she accepts. However, she soon senses something suspicious and asks the driver to stop. The teaser also shows Gia speaking to a police officer, narrating a nerve-wracking story. As the teaser progresses, a scene depicts the brutal murder of a girl by a man, further intensifying the mystery. Gia, as a determined detective, is shown investigating the case and determined to solve the enigma behind the girl's murder.
"Blind," produced by Sujoy Ghosh, promises an intriguing cat-and-mouse chase between Sonam Kapoor's character and Purab Kohli, who plays the main antagonist in the film. The movie is set to premiere exclusively on the JioCinema OTT platform on July 7th.
It's worth noting that Sonam Kapoor had completed filming for "Blind" before her pregnancy and the birth of her first child, Vayu. Her last appearance on the screen was in an extended cameo role in the Vikramaditya Motwane film "AK vs AK," which starred her father, Anil Kapoor, and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in lead roles.
