Shilpa Shetty announces her return to films with 'Nikamma' after 13 years.

Shilpa Shetty, who has been missing from the big screen for the last 13 years, is making her Bollywood comeback with Nikamma.
The Chura Ke Dil Mera girl Shilpa Shetty who ruled the '90s will be back after 13 years of sabbatical with the film Nikamma.
An elated Shilpa took to Instagram to make the big announcement.
"Yesssssssss, it's true! My sabbatical of 13 long years comes to an end.. I am so excited to announce that the film you will see me next in is #Nikamma, directed by @sabbir24x7 (cast still being finalised) featuring these amazing and talented actors @abhimanyud @shirleysetia @sonypicturesin. Need all your blessings and Thank you for all the love always"

Directed by Sabbir Khan, the film will also star Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota actor Abhimanyu Dassani and YouTube singer Shirley Setia.
Talking about her return to films, Shilpa Shetty told, "It feels great. I am ready to take the plunge again. It's a refreshing and unique project, and I am looking forward to working with Sabbir. I loved my role as it's something that I have never attempted before. I can't wait for the audience to see me in a new avatar."
Directed Sabbir Khan added, "Shilpa was very clear that her comeback would have to be with a worthy role. It's a dynamic part and I am happy to have her on board and bring her back for her fans who have missed her."
Shilpa, who has been active on the small screen as a reality show judge, was last seen on the big screen in a full-fledged role in the 2007 film Apne.
