Shiddat,Safaibaaz and Sumeru to hit the bigscreen this week end

Shiddat- Journey Beyond Love

Shiddat Produced by Dinesh Vijan, who has backed successful films like Hindi Medium, Stree, and Luka Chuppi, is being released on 1st October.

Featuring actors Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina and Diana Penty, Shiddat will be helmed by Kunal Deshmukh.Radhika will be seen opposite Sunny while Mohit and Diana will form the other pair.

"Shiddat is a not only a story about love but the distance one travels for it. The passion that overcomes. Maybe all senses or logic to do things that you wouldn't usually imagine, the belief in something with all your heart and the drive to achieve it," said the producer.The script has been penned by Sridhar Raghavan and Dheeraj Ratt

Safaibaaz

Safaibaz is the story of a struggle of the sanitation workers or drainage and sewer line cleaners who even meet their death while cleaning a gutter. Unlike western countries where cleaning is mechanised, the sanitation workers in India clean them by hand or manual scavenging at the cost of their lives.

The movie is a tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives to keep society clean and healthy but whose sacrifices have gone unsung and unhonoured.A final Year student of B.Tech. Engineering whose project is based on safety measures for those engaged as sewer line cleaners – the scavengers.Despite great difficulties she finally completes her project and reaches her goal of affording succour to the sewer line cleaners. The treatment of the film has been kept keeping in mind to reach out to the audience at large. Without getting too arty, the film preaches their safety measures through a gripping story with actors from main stream Hindi films.

Sumeru

Bhavar Paratp Singh has left everything in search of his father and he meets Savi accidentally who came for her destination wedding in Harsil. The story further continues in their struggle of finding Bhavar's father and they eventually fall in love in the journey.
