Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan release date delayed

Initially, the team had locked August 11 as the release date, but the complex VFX of the film led SRK to delay it to do justice to its scale. However, Bhushan Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor wanted to stick to the August 11 date for their film 'Animal,' which they had promoted heavily for the past two years. Eventually, SRK spoke to Karan Johar as well and decided on September 7 as the best date that wouldn't clash with other major films like 'Salaar,' 'Animal,' and 'Dream Girl 2.' SRK wants every film to succeed and believes in the institution of a single film industry.
