The Hindi trailer for Mufasa: The Lion King has been unveiled, offering a visually captivating glimpse into the origins of the jungle’s iconic king.
Featuring a stellar voice cast, Shah Rukh Khan voices Mufasa, Aryan Khan portrays Simba, and young AbRam Khan lends his voice to Mufasa’s childhood. Other notable voices include Sanjay Mishra as Pumbaa, Shreyas Talpade as Timon, Makarand Deshpande as Rafiki, and Meiyang Chang as Taka.
The trailer opens with playful exchanges between Timon, Pumbaa, and other animals, introducing an orphaned Mufasa who appears lost and forlorn. Taka, another cub destined to be king, is warned by his father to avoid the “awara” Mufasa. In response, Mufasa says poignantly, “I am not a wanderer; I’m just lost.” The narrative unfolds to show the growing friendship between Mufasa and Taka, culminating in their collective efforts for the jungle’s welfare. The trailer ends with Mufasa stepping into his destiny as a leader.
Shah Rukh Khan shared that voicing Mufasa was a deeply personal experience, especially since his sons Aryan and AbRam are also part of the project. Releasing on December 20 in multiple languages, Mufasa: The Lion King promises to be an unforgettable cinematic journey.
