Saif Ali Khan Stabbed Six Times in Burglary Attempt, Police Suspect Inside Involvement

Mumbai Police suspects the attacker had ties to one of the house staff, who allegedly allowed the assailant entry. The staff member is currently under questioning as investigators work to unravel the incident in Bandra, one of Mumbai's most upscale neighborhoods.

Authorities revealed that CCTV footage showed no new entries within two hours of the attack, suggesting the assailant may have entered earlier and waited to strike. The intruder fled after the attack, and police are scanning footage to identify the suspect.

He is recovering after undergoing surgery for multiple stab wounds sustained during an attack at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. His team confirmed on Thursday afternoon that the actor is out of danger and under medical observation at Lilavati Hospital.

Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, revealed that a fragment of the knife was lodged near Saif's spine and had to be surgically removed. The actor remains in the ICU for observation and is recovering well.

Kareena Kapoor Khan's team issued a statement clarifying that the rest of the family, including their sons Taimur and Jeh, are safe. Mumbai Police is investigating the case, treating it as an attempted burglary.
