Sadak 2 To Release On March 2020 Stated By Mahesh Bhatt

It's been 5 years since we watched Aashiqui 2 which is the sequel of Mahesh Bhatt's 1990 classic film Aashiqui. The film was popular among the youngsters and the songs were quite a rage among the listeners as well. The film made Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor overnight stars at the time of its release.

Now, Mahesh Bhatt is all set to revamp his 1991 classic hit Sadak in the form of a sequel. The sequel will retain Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt but will add Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapoor too. This one is going to be the biggest venture in Bhatt's two-decade career.

Sadak happened to be the remake of 1976 Hollywood Film Taxi Driver directed by Martin Scorsese. The story revolves around a taxi driver Ravi (Sanjay Dutt) who works day and night in order to forget his misery. The only thing that haunts him is the brothel owned by a eunuch called Maharani (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) where every girl is prostituted and tortured brutally. He feels for a prostitute called Pooja (Pooja Bhatt) and vows to rescue her. The film was well known for the songs sung by Anuradha Paudwal and Sadashiv Amrapurkar won awards for his portrayal.

Alia released the motion poster of the Sadak 2 and we are just excited to see the film releasing in the theatres.
