Saand Ki Aankh Trailer: Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar hits the patriarchal eye with their empowering gun.

Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Saand Ki Aankh trailer have been released. The film is based on the lives of two elderly sharpshooters from the village of Johri, and Prakashi Tomar, played by Taapsee and Bhumi. 

In the trailer, the two can be seen as determined and fierce women who are focussed on their goal of becoming professional sharpshooters and teaches their granddaughter how to shoot.

The two ladies are from a strong patriarchal village who things that a gun is a man's weapon and it only suits him.yBut Johri and Prakashi have to overcome all the obstacle and prove the world that age is just a number and gender is just a biological difference.

Highly talented and promising actor Vineet Kumar plays their coach.

Though the actresses don't look like an 80-year-old woman all the complain goest to the prosthetic team but still, it's good to see two mainstream actresses chose to do this film.

Saand Ki Aankh will hit the screens on October 25. It has been directed by Tushar Hiranandani. Anurag Kashyap is the executive producer of the film.
