Roohi was all set to hit the cinemas in the first week of June last year, but the film had to be postponed due to the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic. There were also reports that the makers would opt for a digital release.
However, the horror-comedy is now gearing up for its theatrical outing in March. This will make it the first movie with an A-list cast to be released in cinemas after the Maharashtra government permitted a hundred per cent occupancy in theatres.
A Jio Studios Presentation, Roohi is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and will have its theatrical release on March 11.
