‘RAW’ trailer: John Abraham is ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’, an espionage thriller about patriotism & love for the country.

After two consecutive success, Parmanu: The story of Pokhran and Satyamev Jayate. John Abraham is ready for another action flick on patriotism but as a super spy.

As we see the three-minute trailer we get to know the story is set in 1970’s and Jackie Shroff’s character trains John for spying with his voiceover booming ‘We are on the verge of the war with Pakistan’ the whole sequence as an uncanny resemblance to Alia Bhatt starrer 2018 sleeper hit Raazi.

John Abraham is in three different avatars differentiating his three characters: Romeo, Akbar and Walter, with three different looks including 70’s look of side burns.

RAW is inspired by the Hollywood action thriller but director Robbie Grewal added a  tinge of ‘desi’ness in it with the protagonist’s affection towards his mother.

Television star Mouni Roy is also seen in the trailer who was last spotted in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Gold.
