Raksha Bandhan Update: Bhumi Pednekar wraps up the Mumbai schedule of the shoot

Akshay Kumar starrer Raksha Bandhan's Mumbai schedule shoot is wrapped up. Bhumi Pednekar took to social media handle to share her feelings. The entertainer discussed how she is feeling subsequent to finishing the Mumbai timetable of her forthcoming film.

Along with a photo featuring her, director Aanand L Rai and Akshay Kumar, Bhumi wrote, “Full of love and a bitter sweet feeling about completing this schedule for #rakshabandhan . Happy that we’re getting closer to the audience watching it. Sad that I won’t get to meet these people and be that character again :( Memories and love for a lifetime (sic).”

Akshay Kumar, who will also be soon seen in a spy-thriller, Bell Bottom, has been working hard for Raksha Bandhan. He will be sharing screen space with Bhumi Pednekar in the film helmed by Aanand L Rai. Akshay Kumar also took to his official Instagram handle, the actor shared a few BTS photos with the director, Aanand, and co-star, Bhumi.

He also wrote a long note thanking the cast and crew of the film for their amazing work. “I’m already missing walking down these streets of Chandni Chowk. Even though it was a make-believe setyou made it look so real, take a bow @sumitbasu62. My wonderful co-star @bhumipednekar , thank you for providing the right balance with your splendid talent. And @aanandlrai sirwhat can I say about you, besides that you’re a wizard and today as we wrap up the Mumbai schedule of #RakshaBandhan, I know I’m leaving the set a better actor (sic),” he wrote.

The film was announced by Akshay Kumar on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan in 2020. The actor also dedicated the film to his sister Alka Bhatia.
