Priyanka Chopra Keeps Her Hollywood Film Aside And Starts With The Sky Is Pink

After the news of her exit from Salman Khan's 2019 Eid Release Bharat, the Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra has even kept her Hollywood projects shelved for time being as the shooting of her upcoming film The Sky Is Pink starts today. Along with PC, the teenage actor Zaira Wasim will also be featuring in the film, Farhan Akhtar is also on board in this project. The film will be directed by Shonali Bose who was famous for her film in 2015 Margarita With A Straw which featured Kalki Koechlin in it. The film will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala and distributed by Disney via Siddharth Roy Kapur.

The Sky is Pink is the story of a young teenage girl Aisha Chaudhary who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13 and sadly she passed away on 24th January 2015. But before dying, she kept herself active by conducting various TED Talks and motivating a lot of people with her talks.

Zaira Wasim will play the role of Aisha Chaudhary. Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra will play the role of her parents.
