Payal Kapadia’s ‘All We Imagine As Light’ Secures Two Golden Globe Nominations

The 82nd Golden Globe Awards, scheduled for January 5, 2025, in Los Angeles, will see Kapadia competing with notable directors like Brady Corbet (The Brutalist) and Coralie Fargeat (The Substance). The film is also contending for Best Motion Picture in a Non-English Language alongside Emilia Perez and Vermiglio.

Featuring Kani Kusruti and Divya Prabha, the film portrays the lives of three working-class women navigating the challenges of Mumbai. Producer Zico Maitra expressed gratitude for the nominations, urging viewers to experience the film on the big screen.

All We Imagine As Light has been showcased at major international festivals and remains a strong contender for the upcoming Oscars.
