Parmanu Movie Review: A Perfect Thriller To Show India's Greatest Achievements
Parmanu stars John Abraham, Diana Penty and Boman Irani, the film is based on the tests conducted in Pokhran in the year 1998.
John Abraham portrays the role of an IAS officer Ashwath Prabhu, the character will give you glimpse of what Shah Rukh Khan did 11 years ago in Chak De! India. The plot borrows similarities from Chak De India and John plays it with ease.
The characters in the movie are quite similar to the real heroes who were part of the nuclear test in Pokhran. Even though they are conducting the test, the Americans have their snoopy eyes on the site and they are almost close to getting the truth.
There are some beautiful moments when John Abraham will be using his suspension as an excuse to train future UPSC aspirants, some funny moments and finally the moment the whole India has been waiting for.
The actors portray perfectly in their roles, Boman Irani gave full justice to his character as the secretary to the PM, Diana Penty blends into the role of an IB officer, Anuja Sathe of Bajirao Mastani fame has a very little screen time compared to Bajirao Mastani but she puts full justice into the role.
